POLICY: Privacy and Disclaimer
Your privacy is very important to me. Many websites say this and then do the opposite. If you have questions, please let me know here.
Over 69% of all websites on the internet use WordPress. Prep to Live does also.
This means…
…this website makes use of log files. These files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and clicks. This allows viewing trends, like how popular each page is. It also tells if there’s any part of the site is broken and you’re not able to get to it. This type of info is not linked to your name or identity.
Prep to Live also uses cookies to store info about visitor preferences, as well as record user-specific info, such as which pages you access or visit. This also allows the site to customize Web page content based on your device. For example, websites would be nearly unreadable on your phone if they didn’t do this. Cookies make this all automatic and easy for you.
On any typical website…
…you’ll see common share-to-social-media buttons. But please know that any type of social media sharing tool on Prep To Live does not control or change your social media accounts without your express permission.
Manufacturers are constantly making new and different devices and browsers. So there could be other info that browser software sends to this site. It’s wise to make an all-inclusive statement like this or I would be forever chasing technical info and changing this page.
If you click a link on Prep To Live that takes you to another website where you to buy something, their site will use secure credit card processing technology. The private info you give them is not available to Prep To Live. And they are required to provide strong data protection and comply with guidelines such as GDPR and PCI.
Prep to Live makes every effort to comply with GDPR and all applicable privacy laws. If you are subject to the GDPR privacy laws, and any or all of Prep to Live services (including third-party vendors) are not in compliance, then you may not use our services or you expressly waive any damages/recourse if you continue anyway.
If you wish to disable cookies, you can do that through your individual browser options. If you want more info about cookie management, you can find this on your browser’s website (Chrome, Mozilla, Edge, etc.)
Bottom line…
Prep to Live won’t know your name, email address, etc., unless you choose to give it. Even then, Prep To Live does not spam you or sell your info to 3rd parties. Such info is stored securely and not available to anyone outside of Prep to Live unless required by law.
What you find on this site…
…is very different. I will not advertise useless things. I make every effort to keep the info true, practical and useful for you.
I could easily put all this knowledge into books you’d have to pay for. Instead, I wanted to make it available to you at no cost.
Yet it costs me a lot. A considerable amount of time and effort and money.
Yes I do have links on this site that allow you to buy things. The idea is to make it easier for you to get what I recommend. Plus the very small amount I get helps to offset my costs.
For example, as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
I care about you trusting me far more than any small amount I get. So I try to find you the most reasonable price. And I will not recommend something unless I already have it and use it. Or people I consider true experts are recommending it.
I’m not a…
…doctor or a lawyer. So by using this site, you agree that:
Any advice you see on Prep to Live does not override any professional legal or medical advice.
If there’s a more qualified source of advice that Prep to Live is not using, any advice you see here does not supersede that more qualified advice.
Advice on Prep to Live is not perfect – even though I try very hard to make it that way.
You will not hold Prep to Live, nor anyone associated with it, liable for your circumstances or decisions.
